when we bowl every five overs we should split the seam and get a new ball unless we have the spinners planned to come on.

Steve - what is the deal with balls going out of shape - is it a real hindrance for the bowler's efforts?
I got great enjoyment shouting "WHY THE **** ISN'T THIS GAME BEING PLAYED AT THE BASIN?!>!?!?" to reasonably significant cheers from the sparse crowd
one day NZ will bring chappell to his knees in a puddle of his own tears and you'll see Phlegm on his belly greedily tasting every delicious tear before watching the hope fade from that old ****s eyes.
Overrated XI Warner, Rutherford, Steve Smith, Rahane, Bairstow, Alecz Day, Donovan Grobelaar, Luke Ronchi, Faulkner, Dan Christian, Permaul

omg Williamson with the prod - lucky
Don't see any reason why Astle would bat above Van Wyk.

He's leaving a little better but has still been drawn into playing at 4 or 5

It's just a matter of playing with proper equipment that isn't ****ed. Can either be exploited or a pain in the butt to bowl with depending on exactly what happens.

Oh ffs, this is the first 10 overs, and you can count the number of times the batsmen have left the ball on one hand. ****ing ridiculous.

Betting the commentators are dishing out the fortune favours the bold yadda yadda etc etc. Looks like we could be in for one of Taylor's trademark "look **** until 50, then murder them" innings.

Is there a more productive nervy starter than Taylor around? Always looks dodgy until he gets to 20.

edit: I'd be a considerable amount Taylor would be a more confident starter if he wasn't the only good batsman in the side though.

Good bounce, but not much in terms of movement off the pitch.
