Was trying not to get annoyed by these comments too, but hey, turns out I'm easily annoyed

McMillan (or maybe Morrison) was also saying it's good to have a bit of pace because the rest of our attack are just 130ish. Has he been ignoring Southee and Boult recently?

If Milne becomes a successful bowler, it's not going to be because of raw pace, that's for sure. Amazing the difference a bit of nip either way makes.

Will be great if there's this much swing and seam around for the test series. Am imagining Colombo will be slow with turn, but have hopes for a little assistance for seamers in Galle. Is that about right?

McMillan: "Milne's starting to turn up the pace!"

Someone needs to tell McMillian that there's a difference between bowling well and bowling fast.

Go back in time 15 years to do it as well if possible so he doesn't play spinners like such a knob throughout his career.

Urgh bedtime I think.

Nice little spell from Milne, good to see him getting the ball to move around a little bit.

Pace has taken the first four wickets. Sri Lanka just took 12 off a NMac over. Sri Lanka historically **** spin up.

Let's give Nicol a bowl!!111!

So on a pitch that has a fair bit in it for the seamers, Nicol comes on to bowl at 80/4. Ellis and Franklin twiddling their thumbs. He'll probably take one now but it seems extremely daft; I would've had Ellis or Franklin on before Nathan McCullum, even.

What the **** I thought he (Nicol) was just been used as an end-changer or something. Please make me eat humble pie, fluke a wicket.

Nah, spinners deserve contempt. They're not really people, see.
