I have no idea how much purchase he can get for his regular leggie.
Rocking the headband when I saw him.
I got great enjoyment shouting "WHY THE **** ISN'T THIS GAME BEING PLAYED AT THE BASIN?!>!?!?" to reasonably significant cheers from the sparse crowdOverrated XI Warner, Burns, Steve Smith, Rahane, Bairstow, Alecz Day, Donovan Grobelaar, Luke Ronchi, Faulkner, Dan Christian, Permaulone day NZ will bring chappell to his knees in a puddle of his own tears and you'll see Phlegm on his belly greedily tasting every delicious tear before watching the hope fade from that old ****s eyes.
"It's not my fault they keep getting out. It's like I should be apologising. I've bowled it, it's pitched on middle, gone on and you've missed it. Gee, what a wanker."
article makes him sound like a medium pacer with a leg spinners action.
does he get any swing?
Back at high school (funnily enough the same one Dry went to years earlier) we regarded him as a cult hero simply because he bowled leg spin and played for Easts. Always thought he should have had a fair crack at FC level.
Scott Styris > You.
Lol, didn't realise Lance Dry had played FC cricket. +1 to my list of 'FC bowlers who haven't got me out'
Well he's going to come on this site (based on past experience) if we bag him. But the word is he is also of the opinion he should have had more of a chance at FC and isn't best pleased.
Also, Heef to come in and comment on Dry,
by the sounds of his bowling it wouldn't have gone down to well at FC, but then I've never seen him and maybe the article was skewed to make him sound less than he is. NZers can be bad against spin but we love looking awesome against lesser spinners and 100kph straight breaks would get smoked once batsmen figured out he never turns it.
I wonder how distant a relative Bidwell is of Dry.
Nah, seriously - the article says it all really.
EDIT: And I've said all I have to say about him previously.
