You have got to earn the right to be aggressive.
I thought picking Gazi was a mistake - didn't seem a need to have a fourth off-spinning allrounder in the line-up (Mahmudullah, Naeem Islam, Nazir). But he looks pretty good, so he's probably worth a spot as a bowler alone - his batting is just a bonus.
Powell and Chanders batting - it won't be quite so exciting as the first session methinks. But one more wicket for the Bangers and they're into the tail....
Apparently it was only the third time in the last century that a spinner bowled the first over of the innings in a test. All three instances have been in the last two years.
Take a guess who the other two are, shouldn't be hard.
Shakib's bowling lost a fair bit of sharpness in recent times. In early days, he used to exploit flight but now he's gone flat. Effect of too much T20s and ODIs last couple of years maybe

Chanders set up for a big one
I think Swann opened the bowling in a Test not long ago, not sure if he bowled the first over though.
Bangladesh would be thrilled to get any side out for under 300 and at 106-3 that was at least a possibility, but WI should go on to get a big total now and as usual it will be a question of whether the home team can avoid the follow-on.
Anyone know the reason why Roach isn't playing?
solid from Chanders, reaches his 26th hundred
