Chanderpaul was injured, he didn't field for the whole of Bangladesh's innings.
All results possible on the final day, you don't get to say that very much when Bangladesh is playing especially given the fact both teams scored over 500 in their first innings. It could have been even better for Bangladesh as Junaid Siddique dropped a sitter of a catch when Powell was on 17. |

In fact he dropped total of three catches in the whole test; no excuse at this level. Also he is a walking wicket. Think he should be replaced by Anamul in the next test. Anamul cracked a 72 today in NCL.

I hope Bangladesh get the wickets early tomorrow and set up a thrilling chase. Be as bad a defeat for WI as the England one in Adelaide having declared thinking the game was safe and trying to be a bit cocky.

If the Windies lose this (still not likely, they do have a healthy lead) then it'd be a stretch to blame it on the first innings.
If it's the kind of game where you've sauntered your way to 500+ on the second day then you have to think about giving your bowlers as much time as possible to get the oppo out, and at the very least you'll be putting some faith in your batsmen to hold up second time around. Making your decisions based around the rest of the match being an absolute catastrophe won't win you many games. |

Yeah but my only problem with WI's declaration is that they didn't try and smack it around for half an hour or so and make better use of their batsman left in the change room, it really felt like they were happy to lift the batsman's averages.
I'm pretty sure though that when they declared, they didn't imagine Bangladesh to be in front after the first innings though! Looking forward to today's play. |

I still reckon WI will win because Bangers have 12 years of demons to deal with.
however, I'd be nice if they won as with renewed confidence, they may finally start winning some tests

As a fellow supporter of a not very good team, I'd feel pretty sorry for the Windies if they lost.
