America: the land of opportunity, where everyone loves a comeback.. as long as you get accredited that is. Would the facts of what's being reported actually change in any way if Messrs Williamson and Della Penna were officially recognised by the NYPD, or would he merely have less **** to fling? Whether he considers them journalists or not is completely irrelevant to the facts of the story, and his repeated attempts to deflect criticism rather than actually point out the supposed inaccuracies are beyond parody.

The vast, vast majority of people who read this page or indeed Mr. Williamson's "blog" care little for bureaucracy, officialdom, resumes or personal vendettas; what they care about is the facts relating to cricket and cricket administration. If he continues to launch personal attacks on the reporters instead of actually addressing the reports then he'll lose any little support and credibility he's entitled to. We all care far more about what you do than what your resume says.
