Think he ruled himself out of this series. Starc has to be cert for the next test.

It's odd that Amla just seems so much better to watch than Kallis, even though his s-r in this innings is so much worse.

btw is anyone figuring out Amla's First Chance Average, must be pretty low..

Healy ring a douche as usual, bagging the bowling from day one. They weren't that bad, were they?

Yeah Kallis is odd, I mean he plays all the shots and plays them all really really well. But it will awlays be dull.

And conversely he is praising the Aussies this morning, saying "plenty is happening" but neither batsman has played a missed yet. Uneventful half hour as you can get.

Just on Starc, is he currently in Brisbane or is he preparing himself for the Shield match against Vic on Nov 13? I hope he plays in the Shield game - needs more red ball game time.

AB de Villiers may be a joy to watch once this partnership has been broken, with a degree of freedom allowed in his strokeplay due to the strong position SA find themselves in and the general position of the game. Probably my favourite SA batsman to watch.

Pattinson looked the best this morning I reckon. But the competition hasn't been that great.
