Yeah, but as I said, he was clearly aiming for mid-on, rather than inside out.

So annoying too, because I reckon that if he'd have gotten through that mad crazy spell, he'd have been set for a biggie. Looked so settled before that last bit.

Sad to see Ponting go, but unlike Kallis and Tendulkar, who are relatively compact, Punter's technique relied too much on his hand-eye to be successful as he aged.

Will always remember his attacking-mindedness, and losing us 400 Ashes series.

Well played South Africa, deserved number one Test nation imo.
