Both sides have won test matches in the recent years by huge totals only to get annihilated in the following test. They don't much do form or even for a number 1 side, South Africa are not hugely consistent. If anything, they should be favorites going into the next test.
The commentators evidently aren't aware that SA can just chuck 9 blokes on the boundary, making anything over 10rpo near impossible to chase.
