Great knock Clarke. Just turning himself into a colossus right now.
Absolutely. The Saffers aren't going to declare again and go for a win even if they go for quick runs (which they won't) so the only possibilities here are they bat out a draw or OZ take wickets quick enough to give them a small target. Time is critical if they're serious about a win.

Gun bowling Patto!

Clarke has scored 853 runs at an average of 284.33 in his last 3 home Tests.

the worst shot since when peterson in the first innings couldn't decide if he wanted to smash lyon down the ground from the crease, or from halfway down the pitch, so instead took a couple of really small steps down the pitch

Didnt see too much wrong with the shot, I thought it was a great ball that moved away off the pitch

I just don't think Hilf is that suited to these conditions. Bring on Sid.

Patto has the potential to be an awesome new ball bowler. Showed it against NZ, and beginning to show it here. Once he masters that side of his game, he'll basically be a complete bowler.

Umm what?

He was not a great ODI batsman from around 2008-2010, stand by it. Really don't see how him kicking arse at test level in 2012 is relevant.
