To me this is actually good news (if true). It suggests the people behind fixing are getting sufficiently desperate.
Umpires can only effect a match by so much, and thats becoming even less with the appeal system now.
Edit: On readthrough, this is all based on a TV sting, so forget my previous comments. In that case it just illustrates some non-international umpires being desperate for some cash. And from the sounds of things the sting itself is very fishy, pretty much entrapment.

Not very but I doubt they would have made these claims if there wasn't a little truth in it. That would make them look even more ridiculous.
