They could have just told the Sixers not to bowl him, like they did with NSW the last time he played this tournament. That was a joke as well, but it better then them not allowing him to play the final games.

The reasoning behind letting him play the next two games, I presume is to give the Sixers a chance to make the next round. Pretty sure CA get a percent of earnings if the Sixers make it through to the next round. Basically Watson earns them the extra cash and then comes home.

The boards complain when players sign up for all these leagues and become mercenaries. But when they can get some money from it is ok for them to treat the players like mercenaries. Love the double standards.

Geez they could have made their minds up earlier aka before the tournament, that way the Sixers could sort their tactics now they are having to go and change them on the go.

We've started well, got Gambhir out, good over from Batesy.

It's good being a fan of every team, against an IPL Franchise.

Azhar on a hat-trick...

Nope, didn't manage it, but great comeback from The Aces.

Double wicket maiden. Can't have been too many of them in T20.

McCullum goes. Nothing sort of a poke to a wide one from Azhar.

Auckland slight favs from here, IMHO.

Just got in in time to see the last over.

Yousless Pathan showing once again that he can only score against buffy bowling.

Luckily he can only bowl 4, would look to not attack him too much.
