Keegan Meth, five balls vs. NZ - YouTube

Pretty good encapsulation of Meth, four little moral victories against Nicol and Guptill before boom town.

The Mountaineers have been bowled out for 26 in the second innings to lose the Rocks who were bowled out in their second innings for 58.

First innings scores weren't much better; fair to say that pitch was ****ed.

Like a pre-covers game on a sticky. God knows what they'd done to the pitch.

Sean Williams and Charles Coventry did well to help the Tuskers over the line against the Rhinos sharing a 186 run partnership for the 6th wicket with both getting centuries

Yessss. Love me some Williams. I really hope he forces his way into the Test side for the next match.

His form with the bat has really picked up over the last few matches after a sluggish start to the season.

Yeah Williams should be a good candidate to bat at 6, with either Waller or Ervine at 5.

Yet another dumb move coming up soon, from the Zim cricket administrators, word is going around that Brendan Taylor is to be sacked as national skipper and to be replaced by Mawoyo in Tests and Ham Masakadza in the limited overs stuff.

Apparently it is so he can concentrate on his batting and keeping but the administration hasn't consulted him about the move which is really poor form. Wouldn't surprise me if he chose to seek a county contract and forget about the national side.

oh ****. I mean the move itself makes sense (if he's not captain he can keep, so can play extra batsman) but screwing him over is the last thing Zim need.

I haven't seen an article confirming it, just rumours at this stage
