Pak had the better team till the early 2000s. We just managed to beat them at World Cups somehow. Weird and wonderful co-incidence I think.
That '96 WC game got me following cricket. Remember Pakistan beating us everywhere else, Sahara Cup etc. But we won again in the '99 WC.
