Starting to agree, tbh. Thought it'd be Anderson pinning him on the crease, but completely losing his **** to Swann was the obvious second. His approach to spin bowling has been bizarre ever since the start of the Aus tour.

Suppose that have to count as a half-decent session for England. Does not really fell that way though.

He was clearly trying to go straight, but he got completely done in the flight, which is exceptionally rare for him. Just bad shot selection, tbh, and completely needless even if it had come off.

Was that 3 wickets in a session? Didn't feel like it

Just goes to show how bad the rest of the team other than Swann has been, basically

Swann wins the session.

130-3, I'd still say India's session overall though.

It has been rather odd.

I mean he looked really good at times against Australia, at the time I thought he was fine and was just being affected by the whole 100 centuries malarkey. Maybe it had nothing to do with though, looks like he is just starting to randomly malfunction, rather than slowly declining.

Reckon he should get leeway till the end of the home series against Australia to get back to his element.

One thing is that when he does play shots, he is actually middling them. He looks much better than his drop in form in 04-06.

Dhoni should declare tbf. This is good enough for Ashwin and Ojha now.

I would actually give it to England. At lunch it looked like a massacre, now England are in the game and 2 quick wickets might even have them on top.

Missed the Tendulkar dismissal, get a quick one or two after tea and we might claw our way back in this.
