Imagine what we could do if we gave a ****. Probably wouldn't be fair on the other sides, hence the cbf attitude.

The question was in relation to his batting form and him enjoying his cricket iirc. Don't think he meant looking forward to watching it on TV.

It's not 2008.

tbf at the end of 2011 a lot of people were saying how they didn't care about the format. Funny how all that changed once England won series.

Nothing wrong with that imo, but no need to deny it

Twaddle, many of the fans still don't care that much (still third best format for me). Yet that doesn't really matter, it's the accusations that the Team and Management don't care is the problem

I think after England became number 1 in tests the management and players made a conscious effort to improve in ODI's and become number 1 in all forms. Ironic in some way how their test form dipped immediately after.

I think it's pretty obvious that the management don't care about every match, or every series, as the attack sent to India for this one shows. But given we were talking about the side for the Champions' Trophy this summer, that's not relevant

Bresnan and Finn have got decent experience and would be in an XI at full strength and Tredders has never let England down before as back up to Swann so they obviously care.

Were Anderson and Swann both rested for this series? Thought it was just Swann.

Anderson, Swann and Trott were the only players rested for the ODI series.

Still not part of an attack we would normally put out though.

But him not playing isn't a sign that England don't care about the format...
