They're playing pretty sensibly, defending solidly when England attack the stumps and accepting the freebies that come after. Gambhir was a bit lucky to survive early on though it must be said.

Haha, Sehwag. Looking so comfy right now.

Haven't seen a single delivery hit 130 so far. I know it's hot and all, but ffs it's the first session.

It's ridiculous how Sehwag is only really hitting the bad balls but still can afford to hit a boundary or two pretty much every over.

Obv A lot of it is down to Sehwag being Sehwag and not everyone would've cashed in to the extent of 50 of 45 but the English pacers not helping themselves at all.

This is trash bowling even if they were bowling at Durban.

Sehwag now has more runs in this innings than he managed to get in the entire series in England.

The temperature is about 24 degrees. That's hot?

Well, if they were on a greentop the wide half-volleys would be actually much more dangerous to play at (though absolutely no threat to the stumps), but they've had three warmups ffs. They should know that these are pies.

Sehwag has done this well so far, just been sensible and picked off the bad balls of which there have been way too many. Now he is just taking the piss. Ton up before lunch?
