As long as he dabs one into Prior's gloves before the close I don't care.

That was a seriously bad shot from Jadeja. Can't believe he decided to play it. Absolutely **** with a slip in.

(Semi-)serious Q: whose technique is worse - Dhoni or Hughes?
Cricket Web's 2013/14 Premier League Tipping Champion

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

Have to say, double triple tons or not, Jadeja doesn't look a top order bat to me.

Stopped reading there because I knew the answer regardless of how you finished your sentence.

    Dhoni. Terrible.

Though in Dhoni's defence at least he isn't an opener/top order player so it doesn't matter quite as much.

Oh, he compared him to a top order player? Was hoping he'd said Martin tbh.

I was going to jokingly suggest Ingram or Munro but I did a quick youtube to refresh me on what Dhoni looks like when in form and well...

    He's no Tastle.

Well that wasn't a surprise and no wonder Dhoni batted at 6. Standard of Ranji Trophy can't be much if he has got 2 triples this season.

    Good call.

Shame to see Jadeja get out so soon though. Won't have been used to such high-pace reverse swing from Ranji though, and Anderson has dismissed many much, much better batsmen than Jadeja.

Ahswin and Chawla need to chip in here. And if MSD sticks around, India can get a decent lead...
