KP in warm-ups is a waste of time, you'll get a quick cameo and that's it.

I assume we'll bat on for a while tomorrow, no point in declaring if India 'A' then just bat all day. Not a great position for Compton to be in but maybe Cook will sit out the next game and let him and Root open.

Yeah, I suspect they'll want to bat on till beyond Lunch. Would be good for Prior to get a hit as well.

Always been a Sammy advocate (albeit with ever decreasing vociferousness), so not actually disappointed to see him getting runs.

Still think it's very harsh on young Bluey if he does miss out tho, but.

If Compton and Root both tank maybe Trott (or Bell) will be promoted to opne and both will play.

Vaughan on twitter was forced to change his view about India A not playing spinners, as he conceded that Yuvraj was a bit too good

I would say he cares very much given that he is a former skipper and just last week was crying due to the fact that India had not picked a specialist spinner, today he realised that even part timers were more than good enough to do the job

I think the point is Vaughan is a bit of a nob, so we don't really care what he thinks about owt.

I agree with you (never thought I would be saying that) but the fact of the matter is he is still a former England captain so with that in mind his views need to be taken heed of by England fans!

Ian Botham is a former England captain but very few England fans take a blind bit of notice of anything he says
