People underrating Panesar. He's always been a quality operator given the right surface, even against good players of spin.

Mind, from Englands POV, I don't think Sehwag and Sachin are the big wickets anymore, Its Kohli and this other kid.
    Batsman I tolerate: V. Richards, S. Tendulkar, E. Morgan, N. Hussain. KEVIN O F******* BRIEN

He did feast on India to negate that somewhat

No, decent nut, in fact a jolly good one, but Sachin made it look a lot better. Gave us a good look at his off stump.

Reminded me of Punter's yesterday, actually. Obviously MF RA versus SLA but both were fullish deliveries leaving ATGs knocking their off pole out of the ground. One kinda suspects both men in their cups would've dealt with the balls rather better.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."

Yeah, true. Ppl not giving due credit to the guy. If you bowl a decent ball to someone in the twilight if their careers and when they aren't in, you stand a good chance of getting them.

Yeah, looks a serious player, the boy. Seems to have a firm grasp on his strengths; happy to sway and duck away from the short stuff until he got that wide and high one.

Great start by England, good toss to lose so far the way it has worked out. Getting fed up of this Pujara kid, the anteater can bat a bit.

Fantastic to see Monty back and taking wickets, not bad for someone who nobody seems to rate.

Don't think it was a great toss to lose tbh, England will be batting last after all.

Assuming we're not following on? Blatant Gambhiring. You're better than that...
