It was a good ball though, beat him in flight at a decent pace, pitched on middle-leg and pegged back the off stump. Good delivery for any SLA.
Ultimately though it's Sachin's fault for trying to play across the line when he wasn't to the pitch of the ball.

People underrating Panesar. He's always been a quality operator given the right surface, even against good players of spin.

No, decent nut, in fact a jolly good one, but Sachin made it look a lot better. Gave us a good look at his off stump.
Reminded me of Punter's yesterday, actually. Obviously MF RA versus SLA but both were fullish deliveries leaving ATGs knocking their off pole out of the ground. One kinda suspects both men in their cups would've dealt with the balls rather better.

Yeah, true. Ppl not giving due credit to the guy. If you bowl a decent ball to someone in the twilight if their careers and when they aren't in, you stand a good chance of getting them.

Yeah, looks a serious player, the boy. Seems to have a firm grasp on his strengths; happy to sway and duck away from the short stuff until he got that wide and high one.
