Keep batting. The pitch is only going to get worse so there's no point giving England better conditions than you have to, plus I wouldn't be all that confident in making any sort of second innings score against Swann if this really breaks up.

Speed up after tea and when bowled out for over 550 be happy to bowl for 8-10 overs. Win win situation.

How many times has a player raised their bat in test cricket over the past week?

I've a vague suspicion it's filthy legspin, but have never seen him bowl, tbh.

Think I must've read it somewhere.

These two have to get India past the 500 mark, Can't bank on the others lasting on this pitch for long, given Harbhajan likes to slog.

A specialist bowler averaging over 40 is pretty special, even if his career has barely begun.

Not that I think we'll last that long but in a hypothetical I'd bat till just before lunch into tomorrow or so. So yeah, keep batting till bowled out.

You want to shut out every perceivable opportunity of the third result.

I'd be happy with that. Be a tough ask to save the game but if we avoided the follow on it would probably be done then.

Averages 36 and bats at 6 for Tamilnadu. Hence should be considered as a bowling allrounder rather than a specialist bowler.
Has a test century too. (Yes, wanted to say this )
