Slightly perverse that Keedy is moving up to a Division One team to get more games.
Anyway Slurry and Notts becoming the Chelsea and Man City of cricket.

Well you've got Parry as well, spin bowlers learn by bowling, often through the bad times. With the Summer we had last year opportunities were limited, Kerrigan wasn't the only spinner to go backwards. Best you show faith in talent, IMHO.

Rolling back the years with the OAP's aren't they Surrey? Must of been a time around 2004/200505 when they had Butcher,Thorpe, Ramps, Stewart, Bicknell and Salisbury in their playing X1.

Keedy leaving was always on the cards during this close season, and I guess it's a decent time to shuffle about the playing staff having dropped down to division two with Keedy following Mahmood and Tahir our of the door.

Yes you'd have thought something like the Goodwin of old, would have been an ideal acquisition, though he has been struggling of late. I'm sure he'd have added more to the club than just his skills on the pitch though.

Surprised he didn't end up at Surrey. Adams loves his OAPs and there's the Sussex connexion too.
