What year was the Australia v New Zealand match? I have no recollection....
ODIs: Aus v NZ 2002 (Bevan miracle innings and Bond awesomeness - 10th Match: Australia v New Zealand at Melbourne, Jan 29, 2002 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo. Atmosphere was electric in the 'G that night.) Tests: 1st test, RSA v Aus 2002. I know it wasn't remotely close but you were seeing one of the great teams at the height of their powers - and a Gilly double ton.

2007 I believe, was the CH leading into the world cup.

Would recommend a whole review of the '05 Ashes series tbh - anything less would be doing it an injustice. Either of the Australia - SA Tests from last summer wouldn't be out of place either. Adelaide '07 a ripper too. Whole heap of Eng/Aus/SA Tests could be thrown in that list as well. India vs SL has produced some good Tests the last few years also, as well as Eng-Pak. |
