Rumours abound he also amazingly started sprouting facial hair. Can it be real?Does help with differentiation.

That's really quite disturbing.
On topic, I think it's pretty obvious he is. It's the captaincy, IMHO. Nass, Mick & Strauss all soon had considerably less hair after getting the gig.
