The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

Just looks slightly weaker than the normal:

Fredericks
Haynes
Worrell* - 5
Weekes
Lloyd/Kanhai
Walcott +
Whatever
Down
Over
Here

Certainly makes the third XI look weaker without Kanhai/Lloyd. Agree that it isn't weak at all, but it just seems wrong with Worrell opening to me. Eh.

All are the domestic districts that they played for first. Couldn't be that bothered to finish out some of the bowling units. Really annoyed that Hamish Rutherford is the best candidate for that last spot I could think of.

Martin Snedden is a solid candidate to round out that Auckland side. Simon Doull & Jeet Patel for Wellington. As for Central Districts, Adam Milne, Michael Mason & Doug Bracewell are a few Centrals players that could make up their XI.

Might be stretching a bit having Bradman, Harvey and Gilchrist, but they played for NSW.

Doull's already in the ND side. Good ideas, tbh I kind of got bored wafting through the bowlers.

Also Trumper if you are willing to go back that far. NSW would beat most country's teams in neutral conditions.

You'd think Smith would just about walk into the NSW side. Bradman belongs with SA, so I'd personally throw in Smith for Braddles.

Yeh I know. But he played for NSW and was born and raised there. NSW XI is ridiculous.
