The word is the Cummins will play the 4th day of FC match, as Watson and Starc get rested for the test.

They don't think he is fit enough to play 4 days of cricket.

Though after 2 months of limited overs cricket, if he not fit enough for 4-day, how will he be fit for a Test in a month's time.

we have a full strength team so it's more likely that we would have lost by then

Lets say we are batting last. We could rest Starc for Smith and extend the batting.

If we bowl last we could rest Warner, Clarke, Watson for Cummins, Mosies and Copeland and have 7 bowlers.

Haha its a complete farce though. Its reasonable I guess if it was just one player being replaced by the 12th man, but this is a joke.

QLD to lose within 3 days anyway so probably a moot point.

SA always win OD matches though. In fact their OD side is pretty strong on paper. That said has a side batting second won a game this season in an OD match? Don't recall anything so far.

I dont' think that's the issue tbh. NSW should have to name the day 4 replacements before the toss not at close of play Day 3.
