I thought the two reports were separate - one relating to cocaine use by a player in a social setting as opposed to regular use; the other the two Marsh boys on the tiles.

Yes they are. The player who used cocaine did so last year, not last week.

Talent aside, it's not exactly a ringing endorsement. Makes me wonder why he didn't play in the winter, though.

He started well yesterday, but.

Great stuff from Ponting. Top way to start the summer. There's some decent bowlers in that Victorian attack and it seems like he's batted beautifully from what I've seen.
