The problem with WA they are full of consistently average players like North, Voges, Birt, Shaun Marsh, Hogan and Beer. Who do enough to stay in the side, but not enough to win you games. It means they never have really poor season where they come last, but don't ever seem to be in finals contention. It also one of reason why young bats and bowlers don't always get a run like in other states. The older players are just doing enough to stay in the side.

Blues looking good in the chase, great to see Nev scoring runs at the top.

Hogan's retired from Australian cricket guys. If they want to play him it'll have to be as an overseas player.

Good win for NSW! Pleasing to see Nevill, Clarke, Henriques and O'Keefe score runs and the bowlers all do well. Why is Henry preferred to Rohrer? Why is Maddinson batting at 3?

Hey Pews,

Is this still happening?

Hope if it does, it's tipping/predicting leading wicket taker/run scorer for the match type of thing.

Doesn't matter that the season has technically already kicked off with a few warm up matches for NSW.

Nah decided not to do it; didn't seem to be that much interest.

My QLD team btw..

1 Wade Townsend
2 Usman Khawaja
3 Peter Forrest
4 Joe Burns
5 Luke Pomersbach
6 James Hopes
7 Chris Hartley
8 Ben Cutting
9 Ryan Harris
10 Alastair McDermott
11 Cameron Boyce

mouth-watering.

If its a seamers paradise, Boyce might be the unlucky omission with an opener like kemp or Robinson picked (with everyone moving down a spot) or more of an all rounder like Hauritz who could obviously bowl too.

I spoke to Luke Pomersbach when he was at our club the other week for sign on and he said he would be out of, at least the first round due to a hand injury.

Bugger. So that means there is a chance Lynn will play. But ideally, I would just bring in Kemp to open with Khawaja at 3, Forrest 4 etc.
