The fact that he was rested from the ODI suggests they are monitoring him a bit. How many overs do you think he should be bowling in a day?

21 feels a touch too many for a bowler with his history.

I'll trust that NSW knows best, however injury management and young bowlers have a poor history in this country.

Nev gone and my tip for the leading runscorer for the year Nic Maddinson out for a peking.

It should be noted that last year I tipped Lynn for leading runs and Ryan Duffield most wickets, so I'm very sorry Maddinson and Coulter-Nile.

Clarke really is an excellent bat these days. I wonder if he'll ever get his first class average up to the 50 mark.

This partnership looks like its going to put NSW into the box seat after being an ordinary 5/128 earlier.
