Yep we do, Stokes, Buttler, Morgan, Jordan, thanks for thinking of us though

    Gotta love England.

Lose 5-0 and bat at a deplorable rate which puts you behind in the game even when you occupy the crease. Sack your best and most attacking batsman.

Said many times here Kevin Pietersen is the best Pommie bat since Gower and maybe since Boycott. Coincidentally, both those blokes had problems with the set up at different times as well.

No doubt not everything he did was kosher, and the SA messages thing was woeful, but he'd been back in the side for ages since then and was batting, if not at his best, then certainly at a level superior to his team mates. I love watching him bat, he just takes the bowling on and is so monumentally gifted it's beyond a joke. Even when Cook and Trott were at their most immovable, I feared Pietersen more. He didn't grind you out of the game, he smashed you out of it.

Devastating player. Has all the strokes and isn't afraid to play them. He'll be missed.

Only one of them inked in for tests though

God knows what our batting line-up will look like now. Only Cook, Bell and Stokes certs from where I'm sat

    Perfectly put Burgey.

Trouble is us grunts have no idea what went on. It may have been a step too far this time and with him being 34 this summer they have decided to get rid now. I bet had he been 30 he wouldn't have gone.

Momentous stuff on SSN, Bob Willis almost cracked a smile WAG:

Bob Willis: "Pietersen has disrupted every dressing room he has been in. He's not-played enough games for Surrey to disrupt them"

It is **** from a fans point of you that is for sure but it was always going to end up this way eventually.

We don't know what went on in Australia, did he do anything new or was it just case that they felt he was not worth it anymore?

Maybe Swann was on about KP?

All I know is that those 2 will be almost impossible to replace.

Oh yeah I am sure he was but thought that was more a case of them just not liking each other.

Wow, huge call (but obviously wrong imo). I wish the PCB had this much guts regarding certain players (Afridi).

Alright this is just talking nonsense of the top of my head, but I remember just before twitter-gate, and text-gate blew up, wasn't there a suggestion that KP said to James Taylor he couldn't bat, during his innings when KP produced his genius innings, it certainly was the Press conference just after that started the rigmarole, with KP playing the hangdog.

I dunno, but Taylor hasn't been involved a lot since. Again just aimless speculation, I'm certainly looking forward to the autobiographies

We did the same with Gower. At least we make the calls just do it with the wrong players.

****, you'd hope it's more entertaining than his public persona.
