I never passed anything off as fact. EVery single post of mine made it clear I was just voicing my opinion based on various things you read and hear... I am the first to admit I have no idea of the real story but unfortunately, looks like I am the only one in this thread to admit to that..

well.. if he does not have evidence, then it is silly of him but if he really feels a couple of private conversations have reached this dude who was running the fake account, then I think he has every reason to push ECB this way because the reason ECB have him out of the side is the same damn thing..

IMO the only way he'll get back in is by saying "you need me. I need you. So how about we let bygones be bygones and work from a clean slate". Might be impossible but a damn sight better than trying to stoke his own fires, which'll just inflaming the ECB's.

I actually thought he already had when he released that video stating his availability for all forms of the game. It really did seem to me that Pietersen wanted to put all this crap behind him and move forward (basically like you said in Post #621). I didn't realise there were still actually issues from his end, so this has surprised me a bit.

I mean to me it seems they (KP and Flower or w/ever) were just discussing all the issues and KP was like "well hey I wanna know 4 sur swann and broad weren't involved in that" which seems like a reasonable request and probably something Flower wants to be sure of too and i dunno know someone decided to leak it because

Wasn't one of Pietersen's myriad gripes that stuff from private discussions was being leaked to the press?
Keen sense of irony, the boy.
