Is that the 12th day of the 29th month?
No surprises to see Bogancity make another AFL post though.

Hey Chris Lynn,
Why the normal proportioned face?
HEAT HEAT HEAT WOOOT
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?
With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left
Recruiting will be interesting for next years big bash their are too many batsmen averaging 20 and under eg Borgas,Cosgrove, some bowlers who are not up 2 it,and some allrounders who are really not allrounders eg Johnston, Dorouplos, plus a lot of new recruits are not up to it eg Keen,Sahburg,Stoinos.
With things competitive expect a lot of players on 1 year contracts to be cut.
Gather scouts will scour grade, age cricket,The Ais,2nd xl ,cricket, country cricket to find recruits who are up to the standard of Big Bash.Maybe players who went overseas maybe tempted back like Sam Robson,Dane Hutchinson just like Darren Pattinson did.
Bet sides will try and contract star players on 1 year contracts, altho official recruiting doesn't start to December next year..Expect unofficiall approaches to occur.
There is room for a lot of new recuits next year.
Let the discussion start now.
Don't think Keen was that bad. Shouldn't have been used as an opener though.
I agree with the overall sentiment though; there was a bit of a gap between the blokes who played state cricket regularly and the blokes who didn't, a couple of exceptions aside. I don't actually think there's that big a talent gap and in some cases I actually think the Big Bash specialists on their own merits are actually better T20 cricketers than the regular state cricketers who outperformed them, but playing Shield and Ryobi Cup cricket is just so, so much better preparation than playing grade cricket, especially as a batsman.

There's no way John Dyson can continue as GM of Cribb's beloved Thunder next year.
He's just not right for the job, for starters, but he could get away with that if the team was performing. They need to strip back the entire team and not sign up Chris Gayle again ffs.
Although not signing Gayle will hurt attendances, but people don't want to watch a losing team, Gayle or not.
Apart from the dropped catch in the semi final, what part of Chris Sabburg's game makes you think he's not up to it? He didn't get a bat!
Overall though the standard of cricket throughout the tournament didn't seem exceptionally high or anything and not many young players emerged with an enhanced reputation. With no super over games and not that many final over thrillers overall I would say the tournament was good, but not great.
Clive Rose's stocks rose significantly IMO.
Well he lived up to his name then.
Z
(I don't even know what it means when people write Z)
He bowled 3 overs in the tournament, the first 2 were good. Thunder should look at buying for cheap Luke Butterworth, Liam Davis and Brad Ipson IMO.
Getting rid of the BabyBash probably didn't help matters. Hogg, for example, playing in that last year no doubt helped him perform like he did
With both GM's gone (yes he surely should go) + new CEO I wonder if the CNSW rule of not allowing state team coaches to coach in the BBL might change
Wtf, it makes it weird? It makes it all lower case, not 'weird'.
