last time i attempt to pick the thunder team

squad: All to play for vs Stars

Chris Gayle
Matt Prior
Usman Khawaja
Mark Cosgrove (or cosgrove opening)
Ryan Carters
Simon Keen (yeah **** you Borgas)
Tremain or Abbott (by this point, thunder are 5/70 after 12)
Adam Zampa
Luke Doran
Dirk Nannes
Gurinder Sandhu

reuniting the spin twins baby. zampa and doran probably feel lonely when only one of them plays. win toss bowl first. cause we don't want to see this team bat.

Warne does himself no favours with Star turn

Quote:
Lehmann's Adelaide Strikers counterpart Darren Berry joined in, reportedly provoking Samuels by warning him not to bowl his quicker ball.

I can confirm that Zampa does indeed feel lonely ftr. Has nothing to do with Doran though.

Some impressive bowling actions on show tonight, thought Feldman looked decent. The little Sri Lankan bowling for Sydney certainly has an interesting action too.

It's a pity Brisbane is the only choice for membership, but I guess flying to Sydney would get a bit costly.

Genuinely interested to hear what he's been copping? Just the stuff about him chucking (which he obviously and disgracefully does)?

I'm intrigued because I've been sporadically watching the BBL and every time I see Samuels play he is acting like a (stony-faced) lunatic in one way or another. For that matter, so is Pollard, while Gayle is acting slightly more like a complete wanker than normal.

Is there a backstory (regarding either Samuels in particular, or the WI contingent generally) I'm unaware of?

Dunno about Gayle and Pollard, but its par for the course with Samuels. Fella is easily the most disliked cricketer in the Caribbean

I like that. He played club cricket in Victoria a couple of years ago (Dandenong I think??), so he actually has some sort of historical link to the place.
