Don't think Keen was that bad. Shouldn't have been used as an opener though.

I agree with the overall sentiment though; there was a bit of a gap between the blokes who played state cricket regularly and the blokes who didn't, a couple of exceptions aside. I don't actually think there's that big a talent gap and in some cases I actually think the Big Bash specialists on their own merits are actually better T20 cricketers than the regular state cricketers who outperformed them, but playing Shield and Ryobi Cup cricket is just so, so much better preparation than playing grade cricket, especially as a batsman.
Getting rid of the BabyBash probably didn't help matters. Hogg, for example, playing in that last year no doubt helped him perform like he did

There's no way John Dyson can continue as GM of Cribb's beloved Thunder next year.

With both GM's gone (yes he surely should go) + new CEO I wonder if the CNSW rule of not allowing state team coaches to coach in the BBL might change

Well he lived up to his name then.

Z

(I don't even know what it means when people write Z)

He bowled 3 overs in the tournament, the first 2 were good. Thunder should look at buying for cheap Luke Butterworth, Liam Davis and Brad Ipson IMO.
If you type all caps, then it makes your post weird. Typing z avoids this.

TOWNSVILLE THUNDER!!

Nothing that wrong with Sydney having 2 teams, but they need to sort out the Thunder **** pronto.

Sahburg was signed as an extra on a lottery ticket, could be replaced by a decent player.
Stars will probably sign John Holland, dunno if they would have Rose as their main spinner, since Warne won't return.
I only see 5/6 Thunder players remanining, its inevitable Dyson and Duff will go.
Lucky Smithy got out of the Thunder, altho expect Crossthwaite to replace him in the Sixers squad.

Maybe i am a tad harsh on Sahburg, but other players named should be on notice.
The need is to search the bowels of Aussie cricket for t20 professionals.
A lot of players got Big Bash contracts on rep and rep alone,Cossie has been shoddy in t20 and one dayers for years.
Keen had his chance 5/6 innings.Needs to work on his bowling too 1 wkt for 80 odd.Maybe a new club.
See Doropoulos and Borgas playing in the NZ t20 cup.

Hope no one contracts bowel disease from being at the SCG today, would be a blow to Australian cricketing stocks.

Haha, if the Renegades re-sign him he'll be the panto villain at half his matches. You reckon they will for that reason alone.
