Big scores in tests

Yeah, but I don't know how to take it out, unfortunately.
Removing not outs all together isn't hard, however this removes the innings as well. To do it the other way you'd need to export it.

Ta.

Presumption is the curse of mankind, as they say. Would never in a million years have had Amiss & Abbas ahead of the Don.

No surprises to see Lara & Sehwag so high there tho.
Gayle and Attapatu are suprisingly high for mine too.

The normal awards that everyone else has
Is there an easy way to take away all batsmen's runs scored over 100 and work out who has the highest average then?

(as in, nobody would have any higher scores than 100)

I think a comparison of 150+ scores to 50s would be a better indication of the ability to turn a start into a 'daddy'.

Bradman, for example, scored 150 or more 18 times, from 42 scores of 50+. (42.85%)

Sehwag has 14 scores of 150+ out of the 54 times he's gone past 50. (25.9%)

Considering how close they are on the above table that's a massive change when you look at converting 50s.

The Don should actually drop a spot on this list, as for some reason he's being credited with only 28 centuries instead of the 29 he actually scored. So he'd fall behind Sehwag.

Look, with all due respect, if you honestly think that this attack, which has knocked over every side and then some for ****-all repeatedly for innings after innings over the last few years until this week needs any changes now aside from perhaps Bresnan, then...
Either Broad or Bresnan for someone quicker with do. I've never advocated anything more radical than that. The bowling machine isn't broken, it just needs revving up a bit.

Yeah that looks like a slightly more sensible measure to me. Have to look at both, I guess.

Dropping someone averaging about 17 for the last year before this match because he bowled too slow is just dumb.

Valer

First Class Debutant
That isn't quite what Monk was asking for - he wanted all scores of over 100 converted to exactly 100, not removed from the list altogether...

But it's still interesting.
Ah yeah you'd take that data then merge in the 100s with vlookup. Statsguru is far too limited. Maybe later.

International Coach
From memory he sent down a barrage of short stuff in the previous overs and had Kallis really on his toes, and then he got him with an outswinger. But like Morkel yesterday, a lot of it was the set up that did him.
you remember rightly, he most certainly did shorten Kallis up, I'm certain he struck him on the helmet too. Was watching at the cricket club, was a mightly impressive working over, got me super excited, much more telling of his talent than the actual six wickets imo.
