Great stuff. Southee should be back too (although it's a bugger that he'll have played virtually 0 cricket in the three months heading into the test series), and there's still an outside chance that Vettori will be fit. Should be a more enjoyable team to watch.

To go back to my move to Wellington, mentioned a few weeks ago... I have found where I'll be living to start with (Mornington)... bad news is, the closest club is Easts, apparently. Someone at my new work plays for Onslow though, what do we know about them? And what other cricket teams are close to Mornington?

Jesus Tuffey looks as though he hasn't bowled a ball in about five years. 115 - 125k, bowling wides and half trackers every second ball. Joke he's playing tbh, just one of the problems with NZC at the moment. If he was a young no name player you'd laugh and wonder who his father knows.

**** me, looks like Otago slipped Borgas a tenner before the game. No exaggeration, he single handedly lost Wellington the game.

Latham not having too much difficulty taking Verma to the cleaners. What sorta pace is he hitting?

Yeah seems like Wellington would have to lose by 50+ runs to really get in trouble here.

 ****iness before downfall. Nice.

Mid to high 130's, first over anyway. Only saw the last ball of his second over that went for six.

Again though I have to question the need to play so many specialist bowlers, just makes no sense with this lineup.

This is awesome. Canterbury win here and make their way to the 20 point threshold and ND will have to beat Wellington by like 150 to get through.

Iqbal and Borgas were really poor. Iqbal got off to a reasonable start - at least by the 2nd over he'd hit a few boundaries, but together with Borgas the scoring became really bogged down and it wasn't really as if they were trying any big shots either - they just kept finding the fielders or scoring singles. The score would have been an embarrassment if Ronchi, Elliott and Kugglejuggle hadn't pulled finger.

Don't ND only have to win one of their last two games to make it through, that seemed to be what Marshall said at the toss anyway.

Van Beek is a complete mystery to me, is he a batsmen or bowler because he doesn't really look either.
