I'll take Archie Jackson via the US President clause. He shares a last name with Andrew Jackson - the seventh President. Nice to get that one out the way.

Great team there so far Eds.
Cheers mate. Really enjoying the draft so far.

Had real trouble with this pick - probably the most in any of the drafts thus far. Jackson definitely not the best quality player left, but the US [Vice] President clause has hardly any quality names left.

Sincerely disappointed with the lack of pisstakes re: women's cricketers

My first pick would've been Claire Taylor under the clause "Shares a name with a US president"

Jackson - Gets rid of a difficult Clause and fills one of your empty top 3 batting spots at the same time. Very clever!

Getting to the business end now! Time to consolidate with these two picks. Going to take Australia's two greatest captains of all time here....

Debut post WW2- Richie Benuad. Great spin bowler, great gully fielder, great leader, and decent lower order batsman.

Boxing Day 100- Ian Chappell. Highly skilled and combative #3 bat, handy leggie, one of the great slip fielders, and another great leader.

2nd Test: Australia v West Indies at Melbourne, Dec 26-30, 1968 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

The Abbott's Fortress XI

1. Gordon Greenidge (part of a hat-trick)
