I agree. In his ATG England team Bradman preferred Grace to Botham as the allrounder batting at No.6

I thought Bradman's lineup was....

Morris
Richards
Bradman
Tendulkar
Sobers
Tallon
Lindwall
Lillee
Bedser
O'Reilly
Grimmett

Unless you're talking about Bradman's ashes XI? Although I don't think Grace made that either tbh

His England team was;

1. Hobbs
2. Hutton
3. Compton
4. May
5. Hammond
6. Grace
7. Evans
8. Trueman
9. Bedser
10. Barnes
11. Verity

12th Botham

As usual Bradman prefers his tail long.

I don't mind this XI as much as some people do, but the selection of Bedser surprises me (although I rate him very highly).

Tallon batting at 6 is ridiculous imo. Lindwall was a better batsman than him (clearly). I fail to understand why Bradman didn't select Miller in place of Bedser, and avoid the ridiculous tail his team has...

Morris
Richards
Bradman
Tendulkar
Miller
Sobers
Lindwall
Tallon
Lillee
O'Reilly
Grimmett

Sorry mate, no way was Lindwall a better batsman than Tallon I can only assume you say that having only considered test match averages. Tallon at 6 is obviously a questionable call though.

Bradman was certainly not Miller's greatest fan, something that I can't help but think affected his decision

Maybe Bradman was put off Miller because of his habitual womenising. It would certainly go against his grain.

About half an hour (I think) if the 12 hour rule is active.

Only five minutes to go, Marcuss will hopefully get back to me just in time - or maybe not, so we're guaranteed our players
