I was going to go for Faulkner as well, but decided on Kapil instead, had a feeling Faulkner would be popular this round. I initially wanted Benaud this round, be he went even earlier than I thought he would. Happy to have Kapil and Miller as quality all-rounders with both bat and ball, which means I can be a bit creative with later picks.

Happy I dodged Faulkner and Worrell. Considered both.

The way things have gone, I am happy to have three pace bowlers now!
Yes, having 3 pace bowlers is desirable at this point in the draft. Judging by the sheer numbers of bowlers relegated to the sin bin I would say that formulating a viable pace attack will be difficult from now on.

I predict a rush for fast bowlers in the next two Rounds, followed by something new in CW Drafting - 'Smart' bowling attacks made up spinners and swing bowlers, rather than the usual brute force.

    Facinating.
Len Hutton - Jack Hobbs - Ted Dexter - Peter May - Walter Hammond - Frank Woolley - Ian Botham - Alan Knott - Hedley Verity - John Snow - Fred Trueman

Victor Trumper - Bill Lawry - Don Bradman - Greg Chappell - Allan Border - Keith Miller - Adam Gilchrist - Alan Davidson - Shane Warne - Dennis Lillee - Glenn McGrath

Once again picked up Nourse, who is possibly the most underrated ATG batsman of them all, so quite happy with that

~18 (low 30s is a standard atg draft team).

    Happy with that.
