I just want clarification that with there only being 11 clauses we're only having 11 rounds?

That would seem to be the case. It would be odd to have a non-Clause ad-hoc pick after the 11th Round.

Over 0.2: Putland to Nevill, OUT, no run, full ball swings in late to crash into his pads. Nevill is almost falling over trying to get bat on it but can't. Huge shout for LBW and Umpire Martell eventually raises the finger! P.Nevill - lbw b:Putland 0 (1 ball, 1 minute).

Archie Jackson (Highest score on debut)

If I now find out there are 12 rounds and the final one has no restrictions, I'll kill somebody.

Nah, there should only be 11 rounds here.

And damn you for taking Jackson! I knew his high score was in his debut, and I was waiting to take him!

Best of luck to everyone else with the clause. Am very interested as to who gets taken as I was able to find a grand total of 3 reasonable players

I can't actually work out a way to find this easily. Is there one?

Nah, he debuted in 1932. Hobbs retired in 1930.

Yeah It's certainly one of the toughest clauses. I have a clear strategy with it though but it involves a fair bit of risk. Archie Jackson was the best player I could find with it so good choice

    Nope.
I first looked at highest scores on debut and cross referenced with career HSs.
All-round records | Test matches | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPN Cricinfo
My thinking was that any batsman/allrounder worth his salt would've scored a ton at some point.

    For bowlers
All-round records | Test matches | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPN Cricinfo
I looked at the lowest highest scores and then for any player that I deemed reasonable, checked it against their debut.
5 Test limit was because the number of notable cricketers who played 1-5 Tests can basically be counted on one finger, and nope, his highest score wasn't on debut.

Blakus, you need to repick. Hobbs wasn't dismissed by O'Reilly. Good spot NUFAN.
