Little known fact is that he's a very good off spinner. Little known cos I just made it up.

Anyway, that's 4 post cricket beers and a bottle of wine. I should stop posting now...

Toss up between four players, will go with one of the fastest bowlers I have ever seen and had to potential to be the best ever. He could swing the ball both directions and could get nasty when he wanted. perfect foil for Mcgrath.

Ian Bishop

KYEAR XI

Sunil Gavaskar

George Headley
Ricky Ponting

Hedley Verity
Ian Bishop

Glenn Mcgrath

If I had to pick a favourite, it would be Monk or Blakus, I think.

Andy would also be up there if he found someone other than Flower, to keep.

Initially very surprised to see Faulkner at No.3. However, he batted 6 times in that position and averaged 69.11 with 2 centuries. One of those includes a double century at the MCG.

2nd Test: Australia v South Africa at Melbourne, Dec 31, 1910 - Jan 4, 1911 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

Faulkner batted at No.5 the most - 10 times at an average of 46.78
