So I've decided to pick the 3rd best test ( Some of CWers put him right next to Hobbs, ahead of Hutton ) opener ever - Herbert Sutcliffe
CricZo XI 1. Herbert Sutcliffe / 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Malcolm Marshall o 10. 11. Dennis Lillee o 12. |

Only 5 top tier openers, and 6 top tier spinners and only one of them left that can legitimately bat at #8. Gavaskar is also fills one of my slip fielder slots.
That added to the best ever #3 after Bradman and possibly the second best fast bowler ever. Last edited by kyear2; 06-11-2012 at 01:33 PM. |
