Was rather tempted to pick Hadlee this round but just couldn't justify picking him ahead of Imran, who offers more in terms of team balance.

True! You have No.1 'bowling' all-rounder + captain

I didn't really mind which of Hadlee/Imran I got as long as I got one of them. My big fear was you picking Hadlee (as I know you rate him quite highly) and then Michael picking Imran. You picking Imran meant I got my second choice so I was happy when you did, even though Imran was my first choice.

Aw ****ing Blakus. Both gone before it even gets to my pick, what're the chances?

I've thought about two other 'minority' picks, but in the end I'll go for the best opener ever. Will do me.

Decided I'm just going to select players I've loved watching or would love to have watched. Warne has been that, the magician!

Make him Captain?

I think that he would be tactically brilliant.

One of Wisdens five cricketers of the century and of one of probably only six gold tier spinners. Add to that you also get one of your slip fielders. Great pick.
