Thinking he was clutch for me. Not confident with my team at all, but I think that clause could be a hassle later. And I can play him as a keeper if I need to.

Sorry man.

With 2-3 bad options ( due to clauses!! ) I too considered to play him as a keeper...

yeah Gubby Allen has good overall FC record as well with 10 wickets in an innings and was a hard hitting lower order batsman too

Have to say, this is the best draft idea I've seen for a while!

Only slight issue is the female cricketer pick, they are definitely going to be 12th (wo)man.

True, but I do think it exposes poor choices in the first eleven rounds as they can't hide as 12th man.

Yeah, that's the only plus. I guess the person who picked it, didn't realize how hard/easy the other choices would be.

Is the best female cricketer of all time anywhere close to the worst male cricketer of all time to play Tests? Hmm..

Some of us are going to struggle without the pre-post WWII clauses - such broad selections are going to be godsends at the end of the draft

If I get the one I have in mind, she will be a part of my XI.

Probably not for 2-3 more rds though.
