Ah good, needed somewhere to post Bangladesh's hilarious warm-up game collapse. 64-0 off 8 becomes 91-7 off 16. 27-7 off 8 overs in T20 game. Dear god.

 That's what happens when you get involved with pointless series and rest all your first team bar a couple. Credit to Zimbabwe though.

I don't think it's that weak a South African side. Sure its missing de Villiers and Morne, but other than that its pretty similar to the T20 side that beat New Zealand earlier this year.

Decent win by the Zimbabweans irrespective that it was a slightly weaker South African team they faced. Masakadza seems to be in terrific form.

Out of interest, why is this an 'unofficial' series? Is it something to do with it not being televised?

originally it was gonna be a 5 match south africa v zimbabwe series, so it might've had something to do with the ICC not wanting too many t20 matches in a series, i read that they denied australia and pakistan having a 7 match series but were considering a 5 match series, so it might not have anything to do with it. but i'm pretty sure this is being televised in south africa

Yeah, it is being televised here in SA.

How is a team missing players such as Steyn, Botha Morkel, AB, Kalllis and Du plessis only ''slightly weaker''??

Come on, the series means nothing.

Steyn and Kallis aren't really 2020 players, and since when has Du Plessis become an integral part of the SA side? He's pretty new.

Anyways the series is alive with Bangladesh winning today against Zimbabwe; looked like Zimbabwe is still pretty awed by last night's victory, not too much to be blamed thinking that they are in the final (almost) in an unofficial series. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good game i.e. Bangladesh vs South Africa. And Parnell needs to ante up his game really, it's painful to watch him bowl these days

Love how Masakadza's basically done a Guptill in T20s lately - in his last 7 matches, all T20s, his scores read 53, 62, 14, 102, 62, 55 and 56. Such a clean striker of the ball when hes in form.

Someone did not watch this years IPL then.....
Yeah they are great 20 20 players - but they don't seem to care about playing it internationally if the new zealand series is anything to judge by so hence albidarned said they are not really 20 20 players. Should have said not really international 20 20 players but that probably would have alarmed you more even though it is a more accurate statement.

Why would Steyn want to **** around playing 20 20 unless there is some major dollars in it for him.

A terrible performance with the bat by South Africa restricted to 129 runs. Bangladesh will come out to bat shortly.

Bang doing their best to mess this up, they only needed 6 runs from the last 12 balls, now its 2 from 3 deliveries and they've just lost a wicket.

They managed it just with a ball to go, 2 loses in a row for SA now.

Bang beat SA. Pretty embarrassing for SA to lose to two minnows within a couple of days. They have rested some players but they obviously don't have much depth in their system, at least in this format. Not encouraging for their future with no sign of strong youngsters coming through.

Bangladesh played also without their key players- Shakib, Tamim, Rubel and Shafiul
