So what'll it be a batting game? Both teams will be evenly matched. Looks like a bowling one now because of the rain.

Anderson has taken 102 wickets at 23.24 over the last two years, would imagine with those stats he deserves to be compared to any bowler, even Dale Steyn.

Anderson is 101 points below Steyn in current ICC ratings.

Bowlers 101 points below Anderson are Zaheer Khan (who has remained injured every second day) and Shakib Al Hasan.

Are Steyn and Anderson comparable on class? No way.
Are they comparable on form? No (according to ICC ratings).

From what I'm reading on CricInfo, the good news is it's not pouring down, might be a very brief delay

    Oh no the wankings.

I think we all know that, taking into account conditions, form over the last two years, and how fricking good they both are, it is a worthy match-up in this series. No one is talking about their careers, they don't compare, but they aren't performing on a dissimilar level atm.

Yes there just seemed to be one big black cloud right over the ground, but it looked pretty bright all around it, just hope they don't mess about and drag this stoppage out.

Can imagine the loud cheers from the crowds when captains walked out and then suddenly the silence as they walked into dressing room

So did we get any rain then ? Or did we get enough to delay the start ? It seems an 11.15am start has been decided, unless we get another dark cloud!!! If we delay the playing of the sport everytime it looks like it might rain or we get a few spots, we'll never get a bastard ball bowled!
