That was tame, really, really tame.

I thought the Aussie coach had given these players a rocket and they were now desperate to win this game? You wouldn't believe it from the way they have been batting. It's atrocious!

Crazy isn't it, that opening spell Finn & Jimmy bowled didn't bring ****, then Tredwell & Ravi come on and get a couple each, one day cricket for you.

Looked a really good shout live, I thought once you could see it was bat first he was a gonna, how wrong was I.

7-1-13-4 now from the lesser lights. Who do Australia have that can do the Bopara job? The batsmen all bowl spin don't they?

To be fair, batting first in a 32 over match on an unknown pitch is pretty tricky. Difficult to decide whether you are in 2020 mode (wickets massively secondary to keeping a good scoring rate) or 50 over mode (important to keep wickets in hand until deep into the innings). No idea what a good score is, and by the time you work it out it can be too late. Wade and the two runouts obviously didn't help though!

Bopara always seems to get the ball to do a bit of something, whether that's swing, off the seam or reverse swing.

That's true, but it's pretty obvious that a run rate of less than 4 rpo is never going to be enough.

Currently 3.69 rpo, which is rubbish.

Treadwell is a pie chucker, Bopara bowls moderately useful mediums, Eng are a shocking fielding side and we're 6-100 despite plenty of missed chances

Sorry, no excuses

Oz are rubbish and Eng are much better at bowling and batting - end of
