The normal awards that everyone else has
Just something to kill time, I pick my first all time world XI, then the next poster picks the 2nd best (obviously not using any players I used, and so on).

Each poster must wait for two other teams to be selected before he/she can select again.

World First XI

1. Jack Hobbs (Eng)
2. Sunil Gavaskar (Ind)
3. Don Bradman (Aus)
4. Viv Richards (WI)
5. Garry Sobers (WI)
6. Imran Khan (Pak)
7. Alan Knott (Eng)
8. Shane Warne (Aus)
9. Curtly Ambrose (WI)
10. Dennis Lillee (Aus)
11. Bill O'Reilly (Aus)

Go....

(Dhoni is a gun).
How exactly? What has he done in Test Cricket to excite you? He is an ordinary batsman and just average behind the stumps. Dhoni is not one of the best 200 Test Cricketers of all time.

Oops, Ponting slipped!
Yep, I think he slipped too. Have you seen the thread All Time XI Game, by any chance? We are working out our top 16 teams, a slightly slower process than this one though.
