Oldies World Cup
I think that it would be a great idea if we had a World Cup of all the retired legends of the game. Each country could pick their best players that are still in playing condition.
Sure we might not see any great physical feats, but who could deny the enjoyment of seeing players like the Big Merv have another go. The team doctor could slip them a mystery happy pill to get them going before the game. They could have a few ambulances on the sidelines just in case :-) This idea would never be financially viable but it would be most splendid. Take care, Igor Clubshub [Edited on 5/8/02 by Igor Clubshub]
